Exchange ActiveSync devices are automatically reconfigured when a mailbox is moved from an Exchange on-premises organization to Microsoft or Office Exchange ActiveSync will find the new mailbox location in Microsoft or Office and update its configuration to talk directly to Microsoft or Office The Exchange ActiveSync device won't try and contact the on-premises Exchange server after it's been successfully redirected to Microsoft or Office With only a few exceptions more on that below , the user no longer needs to manually set up their device for mail to keep working.

For more information about hybrid deployments, see Exchange Server Hybrid Deployments. To use automatic redirection, your on-premises servers need to be running the latest releases of Exchange , Exchange , Exchange , or later.
You also need to have used the Hybrid Configuration wizard to set up your hybrid deployment. The Exchange ActiveSync redirection functionality uses the Outlook on the web target URL that's set on the organization relationship object. Attempt to sync a meeting request that contains an attendee list that exceeds 16K characters. Attempt to sync a calendar item that contains a large number of exceptions. Try to delete items in your mailbox to bring it within limits. Contact your Exchange administrator to change the limits on your mailbox. When you next sync, you will be prompted to overwrite the data on your device with data from the server. This may take several minutes. This error could occur if there are multiple front-end servers and some of them have not been upgraded. Sync should recover on its own.
When you sync a number is exchanged between the device and data end. If you make say 10 changes between 10 different sync's than the device will send 10 back. What is happening is the device is sending back a number that is way off, say 4. The most common cause of this is resetting the device without adequately flushing the flash file system's RAM cache. To avoid this in the future, press the suspend button before resetting the device. When the device goes into hibernate mode the cache is flushed.

Make sure that the Server Sync client update on the device is intended for use with the version of Mobile Information Server on the server. Install either ActiveSyncUpdate. This issue occurs because an intermediate certification authority CA certificate is not present on the device or on the Exchange Server server with which you are synchronizing.
Windows Mobile-based devices do not generally contain intermediate CA certificates in their certificate store. However, IIS will do this only if it can verify the whole chain. By default, the device does not contain these certificates. Therefore, the server must send them. The device must contain only the root certificate in its certificate store.
Frequently, this issue occurs with GoDaddy certificates because either the root CA certificate or the intermediate CA certificate is missing from the certificate store on the server that is running Windows Server Frequently, this issue occurs with VeriSign certificates because the intermediate CA certificate in the certificate store on the Windows Server server is expired.

The server timed out while waiting for the request for an HTTP communication. The user should resubmit the HTTP communication with more information. The server refused to accept the HTTP communication request without a length. The precondition given in the HTTP communication request failed.
An internal HTTP server error occurred. Verify that the HTTP server is available and try again. The device is temporarily overloaded. Use a different proxy or report the issue to the proxy server administrator. The connection failed and cannot be reestablished by the Connection Manager. Verify you have network coverage and try again.
The Connection Manager is ready to connect but the connection is disabled.? The Connection Manager could not find a path to the destination. Verify your dialup or proxy settings are correct, and try again. The Connection Manager is waiting for a path to the destination. For example, on the Azure Active Directory menu, you can open the log in the Monitoring section. The Columns dialog gives you access to the selectable attributes. In a sign-in report, you can't have fields that have more than one value for a given sign-in request as column.
This is, for example, true for authentication details, conditional access data and network location.
